paYTSeamless 1.1.0 Released

This is a significant release as the module has been reworked to allow it to work independently, or in conjunction with the new paVimeoSeamless module (see its thread).
This version is functionally the same as the previous version, but now includes another module, paSeamlessManager, that handles all redirection when creating and modifying either regular videos, YouTube videos or Vimeo videos. The paSeamlessManager module must be installed and enabled. Also note that if also using the paVimeoSeamless module, this module must be uprevved to V1.1.0 or later for the paVimeoSeamless module to work.

All the sample templates for the 'stock' Nova, Cobalt3, Sage, Flashback, JamTube Maestro, MediaPro and ProJam2 skin and themes, as well as those for the jrMobile module have also been modified, in some cases to work better, but mainly to include the conditional statements for the paVimeoSeamless module as well as this module, making them compatible with paVimeoSeamless for when/if you install it. If you do only have the paYTSeamless module installed, these templates will still work ok.

Check out the docs for both modules, see YouTube and Vimeo videos listed, then login with seamless/seamless to check out the back end, and upload, search and import new videos.

Paul - think i found a bug:

Running PaYTSeemless 1.1.0

I run a YT checker:

Everything is valid (notice highlighted video)

However that video is not pulling up on my video page, with error that Uploader has closed their YouTube account:

The video in this example is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oucpidfTbTU

YT checker may need to also check if User is valid in YouTube??

Just wanted to bring that to your attention...

Thanks for that.
IIRC, when checking YT videos, the module isn't very sophisticated and only looks for a code pattern in the YT source code. I'll have to see if there is a better way of doing things.

24/10/11 V1.1.1 Included an extra setting for 'Invalid Strings'. When the module now searches YouTube for invalid uploaded videos, it will also search for these strings within the html source and tag the video as invalid if found.

This should fix up ILHM's bug above, and address similar issues that i've been PMed with recently.
Latest revision now in the Market Place.

Hello, I am using the Nova skin and wanted to know if this module will display the images of the Youtube videos in the video section of the Nova skin.

In the video chart section when you hit the play button and the video window pops up it is blank. Also there should be a limit of characters shown in the title because as you can see in the first 3 videos the long titles are moving the title up above the image and the play button below the image making it look unaligned.

I've fixed the popup player and truncated the $VIDEO_NAME variable in the template (although the latter could also be an issue using the original template should the video name be longer that 60 characters).
Re-download the zip file if need be.

I have tested 1.1.1 and it deletes the videos as it should now. Thanks for fixing that!

Would I be able to just copy the coding from the provided templates and use them on the Mskin?

I have mskin and would like to get this module.
