for the module i am little concerned to see the row templates needs to be saved in nova skins directory even though i am working on a module.

does the row template always need to be save in the active skin directory or can it be saved in the template folder of the module directory.

You can place it in your module's template directory, but the ranking call must specify the module - i.e.

ranking.php?mode=YourCustomMode&module=YourModule&row_template=test.tpl
