to move the picture you may have to go into the tpl files in the modules / jrbattle / skins/ flashback or nova locations.
You could try the battlelist.tpl

now about adding a picture to the battles..hmmm....as far as i know the only picture thats displays is the one who supports the battle...
but me personally...i think it would be nice with a picture of the battle than a picture of the supporter

Wow man I love jamroom it's incredible for what i'm trying to do which is create a different option for rocbattle like producers if the battle module was revised it would be unstoppable. I have been checking out the forums and it seems to have been in data for over 6 years at least wonder when it will be completed.

Bump! Yeah, come on get this thing polished up already!.........

Are you just wanting me to raise the price? I don't see that you've reported a problem you're having with the module...

I don't think the battle module is going to get any new features unless you pay for them.

I would pay somebody right now to add these features

1. Allow artists to create genre specific battles
2. Allow ratings & comments for battle songs
3. Create a credit system meaning one vote would allow them ability to create one
4. A points system win a battle get for example 5 battle points
5. Create a chart system with genre battle champions
6. Allow users to block other artists or report them

When I say I would pay I don't mean 30 bucks either

You would need to create a separate Module for this.
And what your asking is very specific to you.
Which means you wouldn't sell very many new Battle Modules after its created
So the cost to create this Module would be very high to begin with...I'm thinking a couple of Thousand.

A few people actually got together a several years ago and tried to pay someone to create something similar to what you want. But it all fell through because everybody wanted so many different features it was impossible to create. And nobody really wanted to pay for it...... So it died.

Then Brian jumped in and created what we have now.

The bottom line is that if you want a Custom Battle Module,
I believe you'll have to pay someone to code it from scratch.

Why would you say thousands hundreds maybe I mean don't get me wrong I don't program so I don't know the details involved increasing this but I could tell you rocbattle.com has all those features i just mentioned and the site was started with hundreds. Also to be honest if the artists can't create there own battles at least then the module is a waste not knocking the work anybody put in but why would I want to have to manually create and monitor every battle on my site.

Their website is a heavily customized vbulletin based website and utilizes a couple of modified vbulletin modules like the ranking, award, store and battle system. It would probably cost a couple of thousand to create a new Jamroom battle module or modify the existing one to have all the features they have.

Or maybe he coded it himself for free. If you find someone who will code a new Jamroom battle module or modify the existing one to have all their features for a few hundred dollars, let me know.
