I want to move the menu items around and change some of them to show custom searches. Would I need to do this in the code, or can I do it via the control panel?

How/where would I create custom searches?

I also want to add check boxes to the sign up page, but I can't figure that out.

The Nova menu uses the skins/Nova/Menu.cfg and skins/Nova/jr_menu.tpl files and the signup page is the skins/Nova/signup.tpl.
