How's it going ? if you guys get a chance check out my site for producers and I would really appreciate feedback on it. It's about 80 percent complete and still needs a little tweaking but overall i'm a few weeks away from launching it.It is very heavily customized.

Here are some of the features it has & i'm working on:

Heavily Customized beat battles
A Software page - with package sounds for sale
Producer contracts
Groups
Classifieds
News page
Genre description page
Sample Archive - Page where producers can download samples to use in there productions
& much more

I may have went feature crazy lol, but i'm going to see how it works for a few months after launch

Must admit, I didn't really understand what a Beat Battle was until building this module with you. Now that its up and running I can see what the fuss has been about and why the beat module thread is the longest one in the jr fourms.

you added many of the features that the jr_battle is lacking to be considered completed...
DON'T GET ME WRONG JR_BATTLE IS VERY GOOD THE WAY IT IS...
but what you added to the module that you created ussher ..just made it completed to function better

Thanks boplive I finally see what Greg and others have said about the cost and complexity of building something like this. I don't think anybody is ever going to get something like this built for the cost of the module Brain has released which is very nice but we have spent somewhere close to 40 hours working on it. To be honest theres only one other site that I have seen that is close to rb and it is a jamroom site. I'm far from finished. My goal is to build the best battle module available online & thanks to ussher's excellent programming skills i think it will become reality. Smile

There is NO way i could have built that module by myself. Thanks for the kind words, but I just wrote the code. thegreatunkown built the module.

I hope your site gets the exposure it deserves. Seeing direct competition on a music site is quite exciting. More like sports than music. Smile
