Hello,

I have the site installed properly and I have the classifieds module working properly. After installing the Battle plugin, it will not show up in the admin panel so I cannot create any battles. On the front end it shows the battle browser but when clicked it will link to the artists page.

Has anyone had this issue? Is there a way to search these forums?

Thanks in advance!

You can search these forums with the search button on the top page of the forums, or here is the link to the search page:
http://www.jamroom.net/phpBB2/search.php

Or you can go to duckduckgo.com (or google if you want to be tracked...) and put in:

Code
site:jamroom.net searching for something here.

Thank you. It looks like perhaps the classifieds module installation messed with something. My client said they had battles working before the classifieds were installed.

did you try un-installing the classifieds to see if the battle started working.

That would tell you if there was a clash or not.

Yes. It actually looks like these were NOT installed properly. The jrBattles.php was missing from the main directory. After reinstalling the modules, the classifieds show under the admin module section but the battle still does not. Maybe it's not supposed to? Either way, both the classifieds and battle say invalid when clicked in the site's header menu.

I am helping a friend with an abandoned project and I'm thinking that a fresh install is in order. It looks like he has the Enterprise package. So far I am impressed with Jamroom's speed and lack of "clunk" so I am hoping it is a breeze compared to other community software.

Thanks for being here to help me with this process Smile

ps- does the enterprise come with an installation?

Yeah there is a bunch of packages to choose from:
http://www.jamroom.net/Purchase

some come with install. The enterprise is everything, so yes, it does include an install.

There are also other services on offer like the install/upgrade if you wanted to pick and choose single licenses.

One of my favourite things about jamroom is the modules system. (If you like building stuff) Its really nicely setup so jamroom is easy to extend to get it to do pretty much anything you want it do.

hard to comment on the links not working without looking at the pages, if you could provide a link, ill take a look at it for any obvious problems.

Ok, great, thanks for your help.

It seems to be working properly now this morning! I did the cache reset and rebuild/fix tables last night after the module reinstall, but I didn't clear my browser cache. This morning it shows. Do you know if I am supposed to see the Battle in the Module Tools when it is working properly?

I learned that if you change the artist quota you can allow manual battle entries. I'm learning slowly.

Do you know if I can link this Battle up to the Youtube Videos rather than the standard video feature? I'd like to avoid having to accommodate video uploading. I have a youtube posted but cannot enter the video battle with it.

Also, who do I contact about doing a fresh install? They purchased the enterprise earlier this year and I would like to take advantage of this included service.

Thank you Smile

I wonder if the Jamroom YouTube Seamless Module (paYTSeamless) is the solution. If anyone comes across this thread, check here for more info.
