Sounds good, thanks for the info bud, in a unrelated question, will members who already own jamroom 4 be able to get the new jamroom upgrade pack (mod pack) after jamroom is released? It's not expensive but I can't afford to get it yet, so I just wanted to make sure even though something has been posted about it, I would hate to miss out on this great deal.

The JR5 super pack is only available while JR5 is in beta - after it comes out of beta the modules will be available individually or as parts of other, smaller packs, so get it while it's in beta and you'll have access to all of them after the beta is over.

Hope this helps!

Yeah - we'll make sure everyone knows when the beta is coming to a close, and to get the JR5 super pack while you can.

Hope this helps!

A few questions/observations:

Why should it say "Jamroom.net's Facebook Wall" twice?

With the post titles like "Jamroom 5 Beta 3 released. Loads of bug fixes and new features. Download from ht...", it cuts it off and continues with "..." It seem like the allowed characters should be more as to allow for the full titles. Or at least should there not be "alt" text that displays the complete title when hovering over it?

Also, I am wondering why the top post has a date of "01/09/13 01:26:23PM", when that date has not arrived yet??

Not sure, but I think 01 is the Month.

Yes, different countries write the date in different ways.

You can find the date and time settings under the jrCore config tab in the cp.

Thanks WD - I'll check that out. It might be that the post automatically gets truncated by the FB feed.

Douglas has just finished developing the Jamroom5 version of Nova. Have switched the demo site to it.
Check it out and let us know.

It does strange things when the browser size gets smaller. I'm not even sure how to describe it. The images seem to resize themselves bigger and everything paths straight down the page.

Nice work Douglas! That's going to be useful to many people upgrading.

@Paul - Is that going to be part of the super pack? And if it is, will it be ready for the next beta?

@djmerlyn - that's the Elastic grid part, one-size-fits-all, mobile-first and all that. Agree with you, the media breakpoints do need a tweak or 2 and the menus too (tho I havent checked on a real mobile yet, so maybe thats taken care of by device type rather than size?).

It was done this way on purpose. So the site fits any screen size. Wink

When the screen gets smaller, the images get bigger, and blurry. That's not a feature, that's a problem. If the images are going to get bigger then the GD resized image- either GD needs to resize them again, or the images need to stay the same size as the screen gets smaller so they are still viewable. Make your browser resizable and drag a corner in to watch what the images do.
