Hi Paul,

Great demo. Seeing the Nova skin helps me think of a plan for my layout. Question; How are you implementing the video section of the site? Is this an update?

http://demo.jamroomnetwork.com/bodawg/video/1/zippity-do-da

Thanks
Mike

Now sure what you mean by "Is this an update?"?
Anyway, the next beta release (hopefully this weekend) should include more video details and functionality, so then we'll be able to detail exactly how video uploads, and their conversion options is going to work.

So no more calender for the concerts section? How are people supposed to see what day concerts falls on Monday-Sunday without going to another page like Google Calender to see?

It would be pretty straightforward to include the day of week on the Event Date line in the template.
{$item.event_date|jrEvent_date_format:"d M Y H:i"} => {$item.event_date|jrEvent_date_format:"D d M Y H:i"}

Demo site now uprevved to the latest Beta4 and set to the forthcoming JR5 Flashback skin. This skin also has optional CSS for the Sage colours so that it can be used to replace any existing Cobalt3, Sage and Flashback based sites.

Mixcity - The site was running the jrElastic skin which is a bit limited in its functionality. All the navigation tabs are there now.

Check out the Module Notes under the SoundCloud module's info tab. It tell you how to register your JR5 site with SoundCloud so that the module can get track and search info.

Demo site now updated to the latest beta development that includes 'chained_select' and 'chained_select_and_text' form fields.
These can be added by Admin using the Form Designer so that, for instance, profile location fields for country/state/city, or audio genre/sub-genre fields can be included in relevant forms.
These are now demonstrated on the demo site.
chained_select fields require pre-configured options, and a tool for doing this has been developed, whilst chained_select_and_text fields allow users to either select previously entered options, or to enter their own new options. This then gives an 'organic' set of options that grow with the site.

Just built a Jamroom5 demo site.
If anyone wants to take a look around and try things out, feel free to create an account and have a play with all the new Jamroom5 features.

Paul.. Does this mean I am able to add country, state and city on the registration Page, and would be able to search for user with any of those parameters..

Paul.. do you know if the video and audio not playing on ipad and iphone issue will be fixed in the next release. I even tried on your demo site and sill the audio or video will not play when using an Ipad or iphone. It will only show the JP logo.
Thanks.

Yes, and yes.
You'll be able to add any additional fields to the signup page using the Form Designer.
Hopefully we'll get this into the next beta release.
