Hello,

How do I edit the default top menu names and the side box names ie "our artists" to "Artists" and also how do I add top menu links like "About Us" etc?

Most of the text can be found in your skins lang/en-US.php file, and the control panel uses the language/english.lang.php file.

Adding links to the menu would depend on which skin your using?

You'll want to modify the skins/Cobalt3/jr_overall_footer.tpl, that is where the main menu links are.

I have modified this file a few times now and my changes do not take effect. ie "our artists" to "Artists" stays the same after saving the TPL file.

{jr_lang id="18" default="Artists"} <<< this is smarty which displays the text in the language file - the line of text which has an id of 18. The default text is only shown if there is no language string of id=18.

So you need to edit the language files to edit the text, not the template.
