New Twitter API?

Twitter has just begun implementing their new API as of last week June 11th approx. I used to have my twitter feeds display on my main page and now that no longer seems to work. I tried using twitters "Widgets Configurator" located in the settings tab on my twitter website. Copied the code verbatim and no data displays on my page, just a "tweets by thetalentfarm" link.

Is anyone aware of exactly how the new API should work? Or how they got it to work on their page?

I've been all around the world looking for an answer to this. Maybe someone else is having a similar problem.

Anybody got their twitter module working with the v1.1 twitter api, released June 2013?

The twitter module relies on the TwitterOAuth library, which should support 1.1. It won't work at the moment, though, because 1.1 no longer supports xml output, which the twitter module used (why didn't I use JSON from the get-go? I don't know...). I'm hoping to get the twitter module setup to work with jr 5 over the next month or so though.

Thanks Kyle. I take it JR4 won't be getting any updates.

I have some updates for it, but it won't be actively developed any more apart from the stuff that I've already done but haven't released (I'll do bug fixes though, of course). It's going to have to be an entirely separate codebase, so integrating anything new would just take way too much time.
