Any plans to introduce this, or a similar, module to JR5?

It seems it would really help those planning to use JR5 for more than just a social network or music site.

Creates a nice custom item types on command so I can create all manner of things with whatever fields I want and, hopefully, rank them and use other included functionality (commenting/tagging/etc).

Seems my only alternative is to get down and dirty making modules myself. But as there is no documentation as of yet, and am only intermediate with PHP (haven't made any modules, obviously), that's pretty daunting.

Actually, the form designer built into JR5 does pretty well all of what Aparna does.
We just need a 'skeleton' module to begin with, with just a title field, then you can add whatever other fields are needed with the form designer.
I'll put together a 'skeleton' module, hopefully over the next day or two.

Ah, didn't think of that. The new form designer is awesome. A skeleton module would be great for us lazy slow learners. My forte is UI/UX and the related basic programming.

Thanks, keep us up to date.

To be clear, this would be a skeleton module that allows you to post whatever's created using the form generator?

jrAparna should be available tomorrow with the release of 5.0.1
It's basically a single tool to create a new module named xxMyModuleName that supports create/update/delete of items with a single title field.
You then use the Form Designer to add additional fields to customise the new module to your own ends.
