Hi Nate,

Just purchased this skin - need help with a few minor issues:

1. Everything in the menu and sub-menu items are within * * , eg. *Home* / *Profile* / *News* - how to correct this.

2. In the home page instead of 10, I see only 6 in the "Top 10 SOngs"

3. How to modify the text for the drop down Home button ?

4. Error when I click the People > Alphabetically on the footer menu:

Quote:
CRI: Query Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '`key` = 'profile_name'' at line 1

5. I need new menu buttons for artists / dj's / Venues - how to create that ?

6. In Jamroom 4 every artist had a Bio section - how to fix that and show on the profile page?

URL: http://cafdb.net/myband

Awaiting your help.

Thanks!

Salfas

1. Run an integrity check for the * language * stars.
2. See the jamroom team on how the charts works.
3. Like you modify any template in jr5. Look in your skins modules.
4. I'll check this out.
5. I can't teach you how to create a button in a single answer. Copy an existing button and modify.
6. Again, you need to talk to the jamroom team.

For number 2 - look at the skin editor in the acp and see what the default page break is. If it says 6 try changing it to 10. If that does not work check the call and set the limit=10.

For number 6 - All of the JR5 skins have a bio section if you look at the demo's. It probably is only displayed if a bio is entered.

They key is to make sure the songs have plays within the chart days.

For No 2 - What Nate says is correct - other things are ok.

For No 6 - I only get the bio when I click the artist image. Even on the Jamroom demo site, I saw the Timeline only for an artist : http://demo.jamroomnetwork.com/richard-hefner - No Bio.

For artists who dont update regularly a bio might help. Please advice on how to include the bio.

Other issues solved.

Thanks again,

Safas!

PS: Nate - the skin is good but there are a few errors which I see in error logs. This is apart from the error as mentioned in point 4.

Post the errors here.

I'll take a look at the profile bio for Maestro.

Here is a Bio example I just created on the demo - http://demo.jamroomnetwork.com/testme

Modify the profile and add the info.

Hi Dazed!

Yes, I can see the Bio. All my artists are imports from Jamroom 4. And even if most of them have Bio its not visible - maybe I am missing out something.

Please see this link: http://cafdb.net/myband/the-great-indian - only if you are logged in and click the Image you can see the bio in the mce editor.

Please advice.

Salfas

Thanks Nate.

Most of the errors resolved after integrity check except the two given below:

Code
[admin]: Query Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '`key` = 'profile_name'' at line 1 - check Debug Log

Code
[ds0155]: Query Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') OR pr.`value` IN(SELECT SQL_SMALL_RESULT `_item_id` FROM jr_jrprofile_item_key' at line 6 - check Debug Log

Apart from this need advice on configuring "shared network"

Thanks,

Salfas

Dear Nate,

Managed to solve most of the issues.

Waiting for an update with Point 4 - my site is still under maintenance and I need to make it live urgently. And cannot do that without a page to show all artists...

Thanks,

Salfas.

Ok, found the code in profiles.tpl:

Code
<div class="pad2"> {if $_post.order == 2}
        {jrCore_list module="jrProfile" order_by='profile_name' template="list_profile.tpl" pagebreak="20" require_image="profile_image" page=$p pager="true"}
        {elseif isset($_post.letter) && strlen($_post.letter) > 0}

Changed it to:

Code
<div class="pad2"> {if $_post.order == 2}
        {jrCore_list module="jrProfile" order_by='profile_name [color=red]ASC[/color]' template="list_profile.tpl" pagebreak="20" require_image="profile_image" page=$p pager="true"}
        {elseif isset($_post.letter) && strlen($_post.letter) > 0}

Dont know if I did it correctly but it solved the error issue ?

Was able to create separate menu items also for DJs & Venues.

Thanks,

Salfas.

Another thing Nate:

Seems the Maestro template does not have a default contact page.... Can you guide me on how to make one using the simple custom form module ?

Thanks.

I would not know how to guide you using that tool. The jamroom team might know. Do other skins have a contact page?

Check out the jrCustomForm module - http://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/88/simple-custom-forms
That builds a contact form by default.
