The name of my language file is pt-PT.php,

You said you're not seeing Portuguese in the core language mapping, what do you mean?

It means the core does not have the proper mapping to show the name "Portuguese" - it's something we have to add. I'll get it in for 5.0.3.

Actually scratch that - I see Portuguese in there under "pt" (just didn't see it on my first scan).

So on an integrity check you are not seeing any PT lang strings in the DB?

Also - run the integrity check, then check your PHP Error Log - if you make mistakes in the PHP file you'll see an error there, and none of the lang strings will import.

I am seeing the PT language in the database, my only problem now, is when a regular user is logged in, they just see English and Spanish languages in the account settings language option, and if they choose the Spanish one which doesn't exist, it just loads the English, is there a template I have to edit as well to change from es to pt like I did in the header?

My error log is empty by the way.

the lang choices are all loaded from the DB. One thing it might be is the user_language select in the form designer. Go into the DB and in the jr_jrform_form table, delete the entry for "user_language" name for the "jrUser' module. That will force a form field reset. Looking at the code here it looks like the select are not setup properly to be "dynamic" - I can get that fixed for 5.0.3, but for now that should fix it for you.

Hope this helps!
