I have these settings in my php.ini post_max_size = 32M upload_max_filesize = 32M and yet the maximum upload is set to 8 mb. How can i make JR5 use up to 32MB.

Thanks

Set the memory_limit = 128M
Not sure of the logic but it worked for me.

You need to set all 3 to 4x more than the upload you want. I needed to restart apache, but I think that depends on where you are changing it and your server setup. Then you need to change the max upload setting for the quota, maybe empty caches etc.

Note that it is possible that your host doesn't allow you to change your settings, in which case you would need to change your host.

in php.ini:

Code
post_max_size = 200M
upload_max_filesize = 200M
memory_limit = 512M

Gives me a max allowed upload limit of 128MB on the
ACP -> SYSTEM CORE -> QUOTA CONFIG -> MAX UPLOAD SIZE dropdown box

Michael:
in php.ini:

Code
post_max_size = 200M
upload_max_filesize = 200M
memory_limit = 512M

Gives me a max allowed upload limit of 128MB on the
ACP -> SYSTEM CORE -> QUOTA CONFIG -> MAX UPLOAD SIZE dropdown box

I cant get mine to work even with this. I created a php.ini and put in the same code above.. But no matter what there is only the 2MB option.

I've never done it with cPanel so not sure.
I know how to restart apache using ssh. Is there a cPanel command for it?

I don't know if there is a restart apache button in cpanel, but apache will certainly be restarted if you create a new account in whm if you are on a reseller account.

You should ask your host. If you dont have a button to restart apache then they will need to do it for you. You should ask them at the same time if you have the ability to increase your upload limit and what is the easy way to do that.

And also at the same time you should aske them if restarting apache is necessary on your system, I get the impression that it isn't always, and depends on where you are changing the settings.
