Need to know how to create a blank template and customize on jr5 and also how do I embed the action timeline of friends and everyone on the side bar?

If you add a your_template_name.tpl into the active skins dir that should do the job. You might need to experiment a bit with the url, depending on how you name it.

For the action timeline and friends in the sidebar you need to get the jrCore_list functions from the profile_ templates in the skins/jrElastic directory and put them into the your_template_name.tpl template.
