How do you control what subscribers get when they pay for a subscription ?
i.e. $10 subscription gives you 10 downloads per month, $20 subscription gives you $30 downloads per month + a gift, subscribe to quota "my fans" and you will get download for $30

can jamroom 5 do this ?

Yes! Create the quota. Then set it up for no signups. Then adjust the quotas for what it should have.

How do you control $10 subscription gives you 10 downloads per month ?
The download button would only show when the user buy a subscription in jamroom 4

all this was possible in jamroom 4, how do you do it in jamroom 5 ?

I was not aware JR4 offered a download option in that capacity. I was thinking song upload limits. Right now JR5 does not support downloads so this is kind of moot at this point so this will be custom I believe.

Jamroom 4 is good for granting downloads to subscribers and controlling downloads, if you did not subscribe the user would not see any download button . jamroom 4 workes like http://www.jamroom.net/Jamroom5_Bundlesthis , if user did not buy the package, the download button wont be visible, this is a big set back for me in jamroom 5

I want when the user perches a subscription the down load button show on the page

Can we be clear exactly what you want?
So a user subscribes to a quota and they get to download up to 10 songs a month.
Subscribe to another quota and they can download 20 songs a month.
Is that it?
JR5 doesn't do this out of the box, but it could be achieved with a fairly straightforward module.
Cheers
Pa

Yes Paul, jam room 4 had a function where users who have not signed up and paid for the subscription would not see the download button , you could set the amount of downloads, and preview length the user gets under that quota . Jamroom 5 is better with allot of things, but when I see these basic functions that was working in jamroom 4 vanishes in jamroom 5 , I hope this is not going to be a next paid module for jamroom 5 upgrade because, I had bought the modules in jamroom 4 and wright wen I was about to launch my site here came jamroom 5 that I liked better except for these issues.

Thanks

Sorry, but still not clear on what you are trying to do.
When you refer to 'download', is that after buying the song?
Or are you really saying that after subscribing, users can freely download 'n' songs?

Yes Paul, I am saying that after subscribing, users can freely download the songs

the admin has several options, set $10 subscription gives the user 12 songs .
$50 subscription gives the user unlimited download for 6 months + unlimited streaming songs .
In jamroom 4 this feature was included, just look in jamroom 4 and you will see what I am saying ,in jamroom 5 if there is no price the down load is free wish are the only download options.

One of the aims of Jamroom5 was to keep it simple and general purpose, and not to build in specific functions that Jamroom4 was rich with, so yes, you cannot do this 'out of the box' with JR5.
However, JR5's module system make it very straightforward to add functionality such as this. In fact, I have created a custom module to do something similar for another user, so speak from experience!!
Please check out JR5's module system. All that is needed is a download function, a download counter field on the user datastore and some customisation of the audio list templates to check a visitor's quota and the number of downloads he has done so as to decide whether to show te download button or not.

The custom module is something that needs to be developed to do what you want. I gave a description of how I might do it above, as an example.

The module I referred to above isn't available as it was 'custom', developed (and paid for) by another user. I only mentioned it as an example of what can be done, relatively simply with JR5.
Get into the JR5 module system more to see the possibilities (or PM me directly with a detailed spec. of what you need Wink )
