So I've just uploaded the jrCore and the superpack on top of it, set up my database, user pass etc. I run the install.php by going to the url, install pops up fine, plug in all the info and run the install and then I get the error:

CRI: Query Error: Table 'ink.jr_jruser_language' doesn't exist

then when going to the page itself:

CRI: unable to initialize any settings - verify installation

My apache2 error log shows:

File does not exist: /var/public_html/ink/skins/jrElastic/css/{$jamroom_url}, referer: http://ink.MYDOMAIN.com/install.php  (*MYDOMAIN added manually here by me)

I'm testing the 5.0.2 stuff in a different directory with a fresh install before I upgrade my main installation. I'm kinda glad I didn't just push the update immediately if it might cause some problems.

Anyone have any ideas?

Ok I was able to get JR5 running installing just the core server and then copying the superpack files over the top after the install was complete.

After copying, I ran an Integrity check including repair tables, and then the superpack modules were all installed. I had to manually activate each module, but it's working.

So something with the merging of the superpack download with the core download before install was causing the problem.
