Hey i tried this exactly to your directions but it didnt work for me, is there a option i have to turn on for it to work?

I don't know if ths is the problem, but you have two <filename> tags, which I don't think are necessary.

hmm i updated that file to this

and my theme.cfg to the following

   song_mp3player_header.tpl | wimpy.xml
          song_mp3player.cfg | wimpy.xml
   song_mp3player_footer.tpl | wimpy.xml

and still have the same problem, i looked further into the members directory and saw that in one of my directories it was making a tmp file but nothing in the other demo band i have on there.

This is the file its making
http://www.unsignedartist.dlg360.com/members/2/wimpy.xml.tmp

Isnt jamroom suppose to make the file according to those specifications? Is there some option i have to turn on the in the admin panel? After i made the changes i reset the cache then did site regeneration for all bands.

That should be working...you might try regenerating again and checking your php error logs to see if there are any errors there.

From that, assuming that your themes are smarty themes, you need to change all of your variables to include a $, i.e. {$JAMROOM_URL}

I followed all the instruction in this thread for using the wimpy player, Im trying to replace the existing JR flash player on artist pages with it, it loads the song titles and displays them correctly, but it will not play any songs.. can someone help get me in the right direction to fix this problem? Thanks
