Hi people,

I just realized that my users can't upload their song in the jamroom. this error below will be displayed when they click the "Add Song" link after they modify their band info.

Code
your band is currently using more disk space (42 B) than is allocated to your band (-). You will need to remove a song before you can add a new song.

For your info, I have set the quota for the band. But when I click "Modify Band".. in admin mode.. I see that the quota is blank. displaying "MB" only in the quota pull down menu.

so what happen is.. everytime a user modifies his/her band info, the quota will be messed up. and I have to go to admin mode to set the quota back.

does anybody else have the same problem?

thanks

Razif -

judging from that output it most definately is messing up. Did you make sure and run the "upgrade.php" script? it looks like it is not getting the correct Disk Quota value (returning instead a "-").

Try this out -

create a band and give them a quota from the drop down list.
go back in and "modify" the band now - you should see the value you chose earlier as the value that is aleady selected for you. If you DO NOT see the correct value is in the Disk Quota drop down box, then somethings broken. If not, chose "modify" to modify the band.
try modifying the band AGAIN.. see if it still retains the correct value.

If this all works out then it would appear to be working.....
If not, I would run the upgrade.php script again (it wont hurt) and see if that helps fix the problem...

Hope this helps!

- Brian

I have to go to admin mode to set the quota back.

Razif - I just re-read your post and see that it happens when a normal user modifies their band (they shouldn't see the quota). Let me see if I can replicate this and get a fix in. sorry!

razif -

did you still have this issue even after running the upgrade.php? I can't seem to duplicate it here, but beta2 DID fix an issue with the disk quota being set to "unlimited". If you were using unlimited as a quota number, then beta2 fixes it...

Hope this helps!

I only had that problem in beta 1 with quota set to unlimited. Set it to 500 er sumoin and no trouble. Fix is supposed to be in beta 2 which is awesome so far.

With GryMlock's help I was able to see what is hapening on his system, and it definately looks like a bug. I am going to see if I can fix the issue and get it fixed ASAP. I can probably upload a "new" beta2 that will fix it.
