are you running Jamroom 1.1b1? It sounds like a disk quota issue - the "add song" button will go away if your band is over the disk quota limit. If that is not the issue, let me know what your quota for the band is set at and I will see if I can reproduce it here.

As for the PHP settings, you will need to contact your system administrator about the "post_max_size" and "upload_max_filesize" php.ini parameters. Once they are changed then you will need to have Apache restarted in order for the settings to take effect.

Hope this helps!

Be sure to go into the band admin and set the disk quota or that will happen. It's a simple setting and gets set to nill when first creating a band I have found. But not a big deal at all.

Currently I am not having any luck with the unlimited setting. I would set that to the highest setting if you want to upload more than 25 MB of files.

As far as the www links, where are you seeing those that you need to have them removed?

when i click on generate html where it says view your page

it brings up the link for the page but with a www prefix it's the only place I see so far that does it.

and for the upload I cahnged it to 100mb and the add song link came back but it still says max upload 2mb.

21productionz:

also the system administrator said there is no max upload limit on the server.

This most likely isn't true, since the those values in PHP must containa number. You can verify this for yourself by creating a small file called "php.php" in your jamroom directory, and putting the following lines in it:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Then call it from your browser and you will see all of PHP's settings - look a little ways down for the "post_max_size" and "upload_max_filesize" parameters and I bet one is set to "2M".
This is the case for a default PHP install, so they probably didn't change it. Tel them to change both of them to 16M and you should be good to go.

Also, I will look into the "unlimited" disk space bug - it looks like there might be an issue.

Thanks!

David -

you haven't by chance modified any of the code? The reason you will get the "Invalid Option" message is that Jamroom could not detect the incoming POST "mode". Let me know if this is not the case.

I have tested it here (both 1.1b1 and 1.1b2) and I can modify the lyrics and info no problem.

Hope this helps!

Brian

Only thing I changed was detect to /full/path/to/jamroom but I put it back cause i guess I didn't do it right

I searched the code trying to figure out how to remove that www prefix but other than that detect was the only thing I chantged but like I said I put it back to detect
