Hi street2k,
If you are talking about the video you sent me then it might be the video not your pc's or players.
I read somewhere that even though you have created an mpg (with some software) the file is actually another version of mpeg that windows won't play (something like that anyway) If i find the topic again I'll post it for you.
In the mean time why not download the video I am using and test it on your system. You will find it here http://www.mp3express.com.au/jambeta/members/1/video.php I have put on download for you.
Or try a different software program to create your video's

Hope that helps Smile
regards
Kirk

I found that topic street2k I wonder if this what is happening to you

Read whole topic here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316992/

Here's what I read.

Quote:
However, MPEG-1 system streams do not exclusively use the .mpg and .mpeg extensions. MPEG-2 program streams also frequently use .mpg and .mpeg file extensions, but they contain MPEG-2-encoded video. Because Microsoft Windows operating systems provide only an MPEG-1 video decoder, Windows Media Player cannot play MPEG-2 program streams without an additional MPEG-2 video decoder (also known as a DVD decoder pack) installed. For more information about purchasing DVD decoder packs, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Your video's need to be MPEG-1 technology to play on a windows media player.

Hope this makes sense

Regards
Kirk

It was. I used flip4mac to encode it though. I dont know it did it correctly or not, but hell it works. I think you should use a flash player it that way streams cant be capture using capturing software.

I want to test my paypal theory with your software do have a beta copy of it.

Hi street2k,
My player is available from my http://www.mp3express.com.au/jambeta/
Look for the buy now link on the front page.

There are two versions one for audio only which is $10.00USD and has template update support [ie when BigGuy fixes a link I update the player templates which you can then download from my support forum.

The second version is $15.00USD and includes the WMV format for video. It will also include mpeg-1 now that I know it's available. You also get full access to my forums. As I learn more about what I can and can't do with the player you will get free access to the information.

the current build for my player is jamroom3.0b7 there was issues with some of the links which I think BigGuy has now resoved. If you buy it you will be sent the updated templates as soon as I have them. I am still emailing them to folks while I'm setting up my forums ect Smile

Hope that helps:)

regards
Kirk
