Where are the resources and tips for Jamroom Webmasters? Something seems a little out of the past on this thread. Can it's stickiness not be cut loose?

I came here to try to recommend this:
http://www.tizag.com/mysqlTutorial/

I have recently needed to learn a bit of mySQL, found this one using Google, referred back to it every time I needed to know a bit more. Easy and comprehensible, worked for me anyway!

This might be useful to Mac users who want to test sites in older versions of Safari:
http://michelf.com/projects/multi-safari/
Each version has the appropriate version of WebKit inside the app, so you see what should be seen.

I had a quick play with it this morning, it's a Flash app and kind of fun.

You can create a free account (I couldn't - currently US only), but there is a demo mode that doesn't allow saving files.

It seems to do everything a Jamroom band might need to do to their photos (cropping, resizing, brightening etc) with some nifty effects to vary song artwork etc. Very easy to use, with free space to keep a gallery of images.

I guess this is the first sign of adobe gearing up to offer all their apps as online subscription only, although that will take a few years to happen.

I signed up and checked this out, but possibly due to the load I thought it ran pretty bad. I also cannot seem to do much without it re-prompting me to "authorize myself", yet the "ok" button to do so is grayed out Confused

Very useful for anyone on a Mac, MultiFirefox allows you to run several versions of Firefox the very easy way:
http://codecontortionist.com/

For Internet Explorer you can use ies4osx from here:
http://www.kronenberg.org/ies4osx/

This will allow you to run IE5, IE5.5, IE6 on OSX, just install Darwine first.
(note that during the installation you will probably need to run the install more than once as there is a package which downloads from MS which comes through as corrupted - just keep running the installer until MS sees fit to send you a good one).

*** Edited to correct the wrong url for ies4osx
