I have been all over that css file and I am yet to find out how to change it lol. It will come to me eventually or someone else will figure it out. (which is more than likely the solution lol)

Sorry - didn't make it clear. Check your code for the 'scrolling spotlights'. See if there's anything in that defining the height.

Oh...I looked at that also. There is nothing limiting the spotlights. I am looking at it.

HMm... I've uploaded the motogator theme into my site. Tested it on my accounts and a Buds. NO buttons show up at all. We can't play any tunes from the artists page. Followed directions to a T. What gives? We see NO buttons or drop downs. Crying or Very sad

Sorry no pages to look at, they didn't work and we won't leave them live to confuse visitors. Crying or Very sad

Do me a favour and visit www.motagator.net and www.motagator.net/bands/5
Tell me if you see the drop down menu buttons there.
What browsers are you using - it could be that the javascript that does that menu isn't compatible?

I do see the menu on the above sites perfectly but not on mine.
I am using FireFox browser.

Hmmm - almost at a loss. I use Firefox, but I've also tried it with various IEs.

Maybe check that the files menu.js and menu_tpl.js are in the theme folder. Also check that the file menu_items.js is actually generated in the /bands/xx folder.

I don't have it turned on (the themes) for any bands, because there's no drop downs to look at. Crying or Very sad When a few bands picked theme... which they liked them, there's no drop down menu's and you get stuck on their pages.

Set up a test quota with the theme allocated to it, then create a test band with that quota and theme. Turn the ranking and search etc off in the quota so the test band doesn't appear anywhere on your main pages.

I see drop downs at www.motagator.net , but not at www.motagator.net/bands/5 in either FF or IE. There doesn't seem to be any top menu buttons at the later URL other than the sign up links at the very top of the page.

Hope I am addressing the right issue. Confused

Hi Soul
www.motagator.net/bands/5 is my 'Gator' theme that is a 'one-page' design hence doesn't use the drop down menus.
Try www.motagator.net/bands/3 which is my 'Motagator' theme that does use the drop downs.
Admittedly they are similar at first glance Very Happy
Let me know if you see them there. I am a bit concerned that others in this thread have reported problems with the menu, but never followed it up, so I'm not sure if there really is a problem or not.
Thanks
Pa

Well that would explain why I didn't see any menus, eh? Laughing

As you know I have had my share of drop down menu problems, however...

I checked www.motagator.net/bands/3 in both FF and IE6 and didn't have any problems at all with the drop down menus.

However I couldn't see a way to get back to the Motagator home page except at the bottom of the page. I only mention it because the www.motagator.net/bands/5 , (although only a one pager), had the Motagator logo linked back to the home page and this one does not.

Was curious about that more than anything. Wink
