I'm making a website to promote local bands from long island, ny. I've looked at and experimented with a ton of different portals and php systems to try and get the kind of site i want but i'm still not sure. I want a website that provides the same services as purevolume.com and I'm hoping an integration between phpbb, mambo, and jamroom will do the trick. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated it i'm an amateur at php and basically teaching myself as I go along.

My website is www.southshoreorigin.com and right now i'm going to be running my music site off of that. I'm going for the same kind of look as the southshoreorigin site just with different color scheme and a new name "Earshot".
