Steve - It looks like DJ is doing some upgrades

http://www.jamroom.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18444

My site is now down completelt and it looks like it is pointing to SefJam per DJ. Can you help me out before I pull my hair out?

Yeah, for whatever reason apache 2.2 doesn't seem to like sefjam. I'm finding on sites where:

"setenv" is set, all hell breaks loose.

Unless I totally missed something, never seen this happen before. I'm all ears. I woulda noticed this while testing...but... I don't have sefjam Wink

FYI, I comment out these 2 lines and all is well again;

#SetEnv JR_FRIENDLY_FAIL index.php?t=browse_artist
#Options +FollowSymLinks

Any input on this change and problems it may cause?

Thanks

SetEnv is completely supported by Apache 2.2 (I use it here):

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_env.html

Make sure "AllowOverride" includes "FileInfo" in the apache config.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help Guys. It is a little squirelly at the moment. Some links do not work like Reviews, Stations. Site went down again so DJ must be working on it.

Appreciate you guys looking at it.

That was me adding the freetype for graphs and stuff (still can't believe I forgot that).

The setenv thing has me a bit stumped at the moment though. Hopefully Brian has a suggestion Very Happy

hmmm.. I use AllowOverride All ...

Maybe try adding it in - i.e.

AllowOverride FileInfo All

You also might want to check that it is being set on / (the server) and DocumentRoot as well.

Not sure if that will work or not..

the only problem I have seen in the first few minutes is upon login, the user is not taken back to the index page. This page is received...

Latest comment from DJ on the issue....

It's catching your blank entry to the site, and for some reason searching your site for home3 which is the root folder of your site /home3/guitaris/www

I have no idea why or where its getting that from, but follows the issue with sefjam obfuscating the php include path as we saw previously.
