NOTE: Hostgater has been the #1 Problem Site For This Issue

If All of the flash players on your site have just vanished or are not showing up after your install. The most likely cause is the "Security Protocols" on your Hosting Server. This has been an ongoing problem where some hosting companys have enacted new security protocols on their servers that kill the flash players from being displayed on a webpage.

If all of the flash players have vanished from your site or don't even show up after your install, Check with your Hosting Company and make sure they have no "Security Protocols" in place that will block the Flash Players on your server. If they do, they will have to change these settings in order for your Flash Players to work properly. They often tell you that its a Jamroom problem, but its not. And we get the most complaints from people hosting on Hostgater.

Thanks,
Greg -

I've seen this several other times over the last week with sites where their hosting company has enacted new security protocols on their servers that kill the flash players from being displayed.

So what is the resolution to this issue? I am pretty sure this is happening on my site..? No video Players are showing. What specifically should I suggest to my hosting company to fix this?

Just as the post says..... Wink
Check with your hosting company and have them check to see if they have enacted any new security protocols on your server that could be blocking the players from showing up and have them fix it.

Hope this makes sense.......

Hi Greg,

Yeah I did that once already and they didn't really offer me a clear answer, yet. I just wish I knew more specifically what to tell them to look for?? My Audio Players work, but the Video Players do not..So does it make sense that this is my issue or no?

Thanks....

Thanks,
