i was wondering about that but then hows it organized into a catagory view like in the jrforums
i was also wondering about the blogs categories not having a counter but realized they arent quite persistent across accounts so could end up with literally thousands of categories so gave up on having a blog category list altogether
and apparently adoby makes a product we can use for a chat feature wich will be absolutely criticly important to work that out
i think jr might be a really suitable platform
though i think i really need to tune the database performance alot more
question on that would thenumber of modules and skins u have installed have any effect on database performance
cause the new site i think..but im not 100% sure on will be somewhat stripped down no streamming no galleries photos in posts only

it will alow victims of every type of abuse to anonymously tell thier story, get help of all sorts including a safety net of houses wiling to take them in and get them on thier feet
1 on 1 peer counseling ..legal aid and advice (and reporting)

referral services
support groups
i was thinking the groups could be used for the diferent catagories of abuses
hmm now that i think of it avory or whatever its called the image editor only plugs into the jrgallery not jrimage right
i was thinking of using that for maintaining anonymity
it has like a add a speech bubble type thing i think
wich would be a great way to conceal enough of the face to hide identity while still showing any bruises and proof of abuse and the speech bubble could be used to express how they were made to feel
its very much still in the contemplation stage although we're moving into the building stage in a couple of hours
hiding identity is crucial
for victims as well as counselors
so is strong moderation and powerful banning tools
i was also wondering if we do use vid streaming if therss a way to..add a secondary conversion that modulates the voice
obviously we'd need to pay a genius coder to work that 1 out ..just wondering if it could be done
im guessing would take our own core extending
the more i think about it the more i think jr might be our only workable option given the customizations we will need and the fact that we will need to build our own upgrades as we go

i was thinking the geolocation and maps thing you worked out could be a dangerous thing if the abusers had access to it but if only our counselors trauma experts and ..say rescue team as well as law enforcement had access to a "rescue me" or "come save me" thing that would guide you right to them that could be exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxtremely helpful
i know thats a playing around with project not anything your releasing but since its kinda crucial and lifesaving potentially could we add that in
that just opened up a whole new world of possibilities (see told u it was a work in progress thats exploding with potential)
edit the whole long explanation was all to get oiur imput on what modules are most helpful
but now that brians here too really will need the most maxed out mysql tweaking
