Upgrading from existing “Ning” Pages and Discussions modules

whered all my main forums go and the categories and i have a ton of broken links and forums with no replies ,,

the ones that are fou7nd dont have the replies with them
and they seem orphaned outside a group or cafegory

ok i did the groups update thinjg followed the directions disabling but not deleting the modules
and im thoroughly confused and wondering if things went terribly wrong

the forums discussions link in the menus gone .. the very backbone of my site
i see groups 1st 1 i clicked got a not found 2nd 1 i clicked really only looked like a comment wall
whenj i click discussions wich now i see discussions in that box i get a list of discussions stripped of thier categories with no organization

ans every one i clicked was not found

whats more im finding inconsitencies with the background of wrapper on some pages includes the footer on others the footers grey

im going to try to figure out what went wrong

the forums are what were known for thats our heart and soul
and they need to beeassy to use and categorized
i dont care if they all gert pulled into a profile called dreadlocks forums or whatever
im also not finding our pages now
did i shut off the wrong modules

1st group name i clicked said..not found 2nd worked...

ok i did the upgrade havent delerted the modules yet but im a lil confused
i see the groups
now on the front page i see discussions is no longer empty and i click see all and i get alotta discussions with no categories anymore? no organization/
i know profile forums can have categories
im just confused
the discussions i see on the front page are in a group/ what group/ or is it all of them where the main forums discussions go are they in a profile forms now

oh douglass i think it was brian might have been micheal..actualy..yea think ir was micheal was trying to help me figure out an odd issue inm having
the name list under my profile pic
every link links to my profile and cant find why

theres nothingin the files that control that

margin-top -21 on menu and topad padding-top 21 worked out just fine
