My frustration is only that my site is BOUND. To someone else's idea of how it should work and not my own ie Profile centric or being to that my groups are going to display in profiles "period" other than that I was just asking for the code if I need to pay you for your trouble please let me know

Just wondering- did you create the page using the Site Builder Menu at the top of the page?
I have had weird stuff happen to pages when I remove them from that menu or disable it.
Also can you go into the datastore- copy the html code for the page then delete the page in the datastore and start over?
Just wondering because I have had to do similar...

Well here is my deal,
I think when just starting to learn to write code and upload it to the server its best to keep it as simple as possible to gain confidence so I recommended Notepad...no need to download anything-its there its fast -try it.
Currently I am using a free editor called PSPad which works great and its 100% free...problem is it has so many buttons bells and whistles I think it could be intimidating to someone making their first template.

I have PSPad set to open all .tpl .css .php and .html files as default so if I open any file from Filezilla it opens in PSPad- where the code is automatically indented-then save it..

I agree with michael in that I like indenting to show the DIVs and Tables..so I can easily count opening/closing tags...other than that at this stage in my personal development...I dont need anything else.

As for my typing I struggle here lately- seems all the cigarette ashes and red bulls spilled on my keyboard have had a concrete effect on some keys...oh and I cant look up and type at the same time ( I really can spell MANY of these words

Oh trust me- you are fine....I have stretched the rubberband to the moon...and it still aint broke!
They do go above and beyond.

I think what they like to see is that you search for your own answers first using the forum-Udemy- and the Jamroom YouTube videos....then after that I think anything is game to them.

I know it's unspoken- but if they give you an answer/solution to your problem AND later you see someone in the forum with the same problem-share your solution with them or point them to a link- at least that my philosophy...

I feel like if I do my best to help out then they will do their best to help me...or at least it helps me to stretch the rubberband a little farther...

I do have shame/pride...sometimes I have to post a question that makes me cringe when I type it..

Concerning Frelancers- I think Jamroom staff would much prefer that you use freelancers who are familiar with Jamroom modules so they dont create problems...Those freelancers are hard to find

Ok Im ready to go with the mainstream on this and quit swimming against the current...
I have added
{jrProfile_disable_header}
{jrProfile_disable_sidebar}

Which is working to disable the header- but has no effect on the left column of my profile- if I could get that removed I would be a happy camper

Anyone here for hire on this? I am really sick of messing with it- frustrated that things that should just be copy/paste from one location to another involves 3 days to find a solution

My Groups are currently only displayed in user profiles- I want to either move them to stand alone pages I have created or ADD them to the stand alone pages...

Are there any Docs for doing this?
