I use wow slider myself as a paid slider and really happy with it- loaded with effects and options
*Add the scripts to your meta data
*Upload the files to your server
*Add the embed code

I think I my have had alt/title tags backwards..also my image size is WAY to large in this video- Its just to quickly show an image in the post

How to use the jrGravatar module to provide a default profile image?
Using Jamroom

The workaroud I have been using has been working perfectly- the difference between here and Ning is here YOU CAN go into a members profile and make changes INCLUDING profile AND account images..
Coming here from Ning I had over 17,000 pics uploaded-in my terms of service I state that "you understyand and agree that material you upload here may be used to promote this website"...

Anyway I go through those 17,000 photos and pic those that would make great generic profile photos for my website...choose maybe 100- bulk edit them in photoshop so they are resized to a small KB size file- then save them to a folder on my desktop called "New Profile Photos"
Now when someone joins I automatically have a look at their profile/user name and email to deem everything appropiate...then if their is a graviar image I quickly replace with with on of my own...takes maybe less than 30 seconds per profile AND realy makes the members page of the site look GREAT
I am happy with this work around

Order By Star Ratings

Trying to sort a page of images by STAR ratings using the below
  {jrCore_list module="jrGallery" order_by="*_rating_overall_average_count NUMERICAL_DESC"  require_image="gallery_image" pagebreak=20 page=$_post.p pager=true template=$tpl}

The code was working ok until I added the
order_by="*_rating_overall_average_count NUMERICAL_DESC"

Now its not displaying any images

Has anyone found a different "order by" code that will sort the grid of images displayed my Highest Rated

(which I am hoping is a combination of both number of ratings AND Stars - I would not want an image that has one "5 star rating" being ranked over an image that has 50 submissons and a overall "4 Star rating")

If you have worked this out on your site pls post how or a link to documents that explain

( my reason for generating this code is for chasing down some bugs on my site- I have disabled the ShareThis module on my site and want to try adding the code manually from the Sharethis site and see if it fixes my bug)

Using Jamroom

Go to ShareThis website and generate the code there-add their scripts to your Meta template then post their button code in the body where you want the buttons displayed
Seems like it should work

Something To consider when leaving Ning
Ning To Jamroom

Yes thanks! My domains are all hosted at Godaddy so access has never been an issue I have experienced-I went through 4 domain names moving from server to server

All while I was working on my DrillingAhead site which was live on Ning. My Ning domain has always been a paid one so I never used the .ning.com which I think is our difference.
I did see this in the domain settings and I wonder had I left it alone (drillingahead.ning.com) instead of removing it- then in hindsight I think I could have still logged into my ning platform even while live on JR

How to add a contact link to the profile?

Well I figure you will have to know where to link to but I would imagine it would start something like this
<a href="{$jamroom_url}/{$profile_url}/private_note_stuff">Send Private Note</a>

Sorry- hehe- but this is outside my scope of support....lmao
