How to remove native comments?

I was testing out what it would look like on my site if i replaced native comments entirely with disqus comments and i noticed even after i deleted the native comments module, the item detail lists still show the comment counters on the list? How can i remove the counters after i remove the comments module?

you know i looked at coming back to jamroom from social engine for a while i kept playing with the idea for almost 2 years but it was the jr run simple chat that gave me the final push to say hell with it im going back to jamroom. note i had no issues at all running cc on se i installed it myself and it worked perfectly fine no issues but i always felt it did make the site look and feel dated and i could never get it to work on mobile without costing a fortune i ended up using cometchat on the web site and chatwing on mobile and that was just ridiculous running all those chats since one used members and one did not it was hard to make progress on that really. Now on jr's new system with simple chat installed its all in one box and works on my mobile phone close to perfect. for the time being i will also be letting cc sit on the shelf and see where we go from here using simplechat and jr exclusively for our site. the last time i used jamroom with cc i had the same issues with support that strumelia experienced and its just not worth it unless you had no other option really.

im not sure what they can see when they do it, i mean most everybody knows me so it freaks em out when it happens and they log out usually and back in and they are fine then but yes the potential for disaster. so far i have not seen any blogs or things posted on my behalf that are not me so its possible all they can do is chat but i really dont know. its hard to say since the majority of my community comes just to chat with the djs?

pretty embarrassing scrolling back through the chat i see that person carried conversations with people in chat as ME for almost an hour

looks like it happened again last night same time area during maintenance

i was able to do it with the simple chat by taking the css code from another skin and adding it to the skin css and it made the chat dark but not sure about the rest

i updated the skin to newest release and cloned it again and same issue
