Best Way To Add Reviews on Chart Pages

Using Jamroom

That is odd, it almost looks like there is an id being passed in somehow?

You might also think about adding a z-index on your modal div, otherwise it goes behind your navigation menu.

Form Designer Not Showing in 'Modify Album'

Using Jamroom

I would always keep everything up to date as some modules depend on others to work correctly.

Form Designer Not Showing in 'Modify Album'

Using Jamroom

MySong:
Lets say for example in 'profile/settings' form designer (also tested in other forms) you want to add a new field called 'artist location'.

Now you only want this field to show up on the profile settings page of 'artist profiles' and not regular 'member profiles'.

Lets say you that you have 3 quotas 1-Advanced Artist 2-Basic Artist 3-Member. So under 'display groups' you would want to highlight Advanced Artist and Basic Artist and leave Member un-highlighted.

If this is done, the field will not show up in the settings of either Advanced or Basic artists. Yet if only one Quota was selected it would show.

I did notice that if two Groups are selected (ex: Master Admins and Profile Admins) it does show.

So far on my site, I am fine using Groups but do understand instances where people would want to have multiple quotas and exclude others. For example if they want the profile owners themselves to access the field but do not want all quotas to see it.

Are all of your modules updated to the latest versions?

Sorry Dazed, got tied up today, will have to check this out tomorrow morning, unless you come up with something first.

I wouldn't think it would be too hard to do though.

Form Designer Not Showing in 'Modify Album'

MySong:
Thanks.

BTW in 'form designer' > 'display groups'

If more then one quota is highlighted it will not show up field in quotas. Did not have much time to fully test but from the runs I did, it seems like this is true. At the moment it is not relevant on our site but just mentioning it since came across it.

Sounds like the same issue I was having with the profile form Brian. When selecting more than one group, the field wouldn't show.

When you say reviews, are you referring to comments only?

Do you have a link so I can see what you have so far?

Thanks!

Best Way To Add Reviews on Chart Pages

If you have the news page setup, the news title links should use the news_story.tpl file.

The basic URL for the news_story.tpl would look something like

http://yoursite/news_story/blogID/blogtitle

Hope this helps,
Douglas

Checkout how the news_story.tpl file is setup, you could probably use that as a starting point or guide.

Projam4 Template and Modules

Installation and Configuration

No, those modules are not available for PJ5. Our goal for the new ProJam5 skin was to scale it down so there weren't that many templates to deal with.

The MediaPro skin is setup to show newly created quotas, ie. DJ's, Rappers etc... so I'll see what it will take to add that to the ProJam5 skin.

Otherwise, you would have to add those quotas, pages and links to the pages yourself.

curious about how jrpolls looks on a site

Off Topic

boplive:
i took a look at it...KOOOLLL! ...so you can use the Media URL Scanner
how would you add the info to have the media player
do you just add the link like this
http://demo.jamroom.net/jrMediaProLight/demoadmin/audio/p=2
and it will show the player

Yes, with the Media URL scanner you just add the link to it, like you've described, and it will create a link with the player embedded, I believe you can also do YouTube, SoundCloud and Vimeo links as well.

Hope this helps,
Douglas
