Install Jamroom 5 - PHP System Error

Installation and Configuration

I'm not 100% sure, but moving the php.ini file to the JR5 directory may not work.

Can you edit the php.ini file in your /etc/ directory, as stated in that post, and restart your server?

If you can't edit that file directly, you may want to contact your hosting provider for assistance.

Short of that, you'll want to wait on Brian, he know more about the server setup than I do.

Using Jamroom

You'll want to add more text, the way it is setup it will only work when there is enough text to make the image float to the left.

Hope this helps,
Douglas

Install Jamroom 5 - PHP System Error

Installation and Configuration

bagpiper:
Thanks for the reply.

I can't get complete the Installing Jamroom part because I get the PHP error prior to submitting the database name, user and password.

I copied the server php.ini to the JR5 directory so I can edit the PHP options just for JR5 and nothing else on the server.

This advice was found in the forums but without the necessary info to which section needs to be customized.

Make sure your server meets these requirements:

When you add the image, are you adding it to the textarea or using the upload image button?

Questions on JR5

Using Jamroom

Yes, the mobile menu is the same on all the Jamroom skins, I'm not sure about third party skins. Other menu systems can be used, your not limited to the one we use/provide.

The menu is a drop down type menu, created with CSS and a little JS, it does not open in a new page/window.

The skin jamroom.net is using is not for sale, it was purchased just for this site and the license does not allow redistribution.

Hope this helps,
Douglas

Unfortunately, since we can't support the MSkin because it is a third party developer, it is hard to tell what is going on or what is needed to get the results your looking for.

Are you uploading an image when you create the blog for that section?

I'm not seeing anything in that section on your site, so I'm just guessing.

Your right, it isn't fixed.

I'll get that fixed.

Thanks!
