Can you post what the errors are?
You could also go into your database and in the jr_core_setting table change the active_skin to one that you have not been working on.

There are actually only two places to add the group_by parameter.

I've got the fix in the Marketplace, you'll want to upgrade to that, then in your skin settings, you can set any profile for the forum link as well as the document link.

Do you have the .htaccess file uploaded in the main directory your installing Jamroom in?
