JRdiscussion question (hyperlinks to reply comments)

Using Jamroom

Links to individual comments would have the format -

{$jamroom_url}/{$item.profile_url}/{$murl}/{$item._item_id}

so use that somewhere inside the {foreach} loop inside the jrComment 'item_list.tpl' template.

Suggestions

What widget type are you using? Template Code? What you say above sounds logical if so.

easy ajax pagination in sitebuider

Suggestions

soaringeagle:
what about the activity stream which should paginate using ajax by default right or what code should i use
Not sure that it should paginate by default - other users may disagree. But its easy to set it up in SB, whichever way you want it to work.

Reversing the order of replies to forum discussion (newest first)

Using Jamroom

Sorry - Brian is right. I've never seen a JR forum with it implemented so that's why I'd forgot it was an option ;-)

Quote: I'm assuming the new 'order by' option will play nice with pagination, then.
jrForum topic posts don't paginate, so this is not an issue.

Events calendar (notification when someone registers)

Using Jamroom

As users can toggle the 'attending' button at will, the fact that you will get a notification every time it changes, which may not then be accurate might lead to confusion.
Maybe just set up the default 'attendee' notification and attend the event yourself. Then, when you get the notification, you can then look to see who's going?
