Move a discussion - hide a pointer

Using Jamroom

Yeah - That button shouldn't be showing to non forum owners. I'll check it out.
Thanks

dead links (email notifications, hyperlinks not active?)

Quote: I guess I ask for too much, but do you know how to make these "live" in Private Notes? If not, then we need to live without them. You did a LOT.
Its up to your users how they want to be notified of things (email or private note). Thet can set that in their Notifications sections.

subscriptions: 1 user, multiple profile s

Using Jamroom

You can set Users as 'Power Users' in the quota settings so that they can create multiple profiles. However, if you want them to be allocated to existing profile(s) you need to do that 'by hand' as admin.

Simple Chat 'Module URL' setting

Installation and Configuration

The Chat module only works as a 'pop-out' on the right hand side of your site pages. The only place it works 'stand-alone' is on mobile devices. Everything happens in that pop-out so that is what users need to keep an eye on.

dead links (email notifications, hyperlinks not active?)

Using Jamroom

Quote: Note the UNDERSCORE and not a DASH. Have you recently changed the URL on the Forum module to be "main-forum" instead of "main_forum"?
This is the case. You have the forum's module url set to 'main-forum'. Change it to 'main_forum' and it should fix things. Dashes are used to replace invalid url characters when parsing them for links so it looks link having one there in the first place confuses things.
Try that and let us know. We'll maybe have to disallow dashes in that field.

groups to JRdiscussion (following)

Ning To Jamroom

The 'Group Discuss item to Forum Category' may well be released in the near future, but not the Discussion module.
Note that the former module is 'one-way' - Group Discuss to Forum and not visa versa.

Site Builder Container Title

Using Jamroom

I'll raise an internal ticket on this to see if it can be implemented.

How to Include "Add to Timeline" for Forum/Create when posting as Admin?

Using Jamroom

Yep - Confirmed that its not there on JR5.
If you can live with this issue a bit longer I'd recomend NOT updating at the moment. JR6 is getting more stable by the day but I suspect there are still a few bugs in the woodwork. We are also still working on making all the skins compatible.

No comment box on Group Discussions when logged in as admin.

Using Jamroom

Hi Les - I've got this fixed up for you.
The problem was that as admin, when you look at a profile, in this case Community, you take on that profile's identity, and that includes the profile's quota settings. The Community profile did not have the Comment module enabled in its quota, hence, no comment form. Have enabled the Comment module for the Community quota and all is ok.

How to Include "Add to Timeline" for Forum/Create when posting as Admin?

Using Jamroom

I'm not seeing an issue. The Share to Timeline option is always there.
Are you running the latest JR6 beta Core and modules? If not, that might be something to do with it. Let me know if so and I'll check on a JR5 setup.
