Coincidentally enough I've just built a tool to do this for another ex Ningster and it will be in the next release of the jrImage module.
Basically you set the maximum image width or height and the module and it'll run though all the module images reducing their size appropriately. Disk usage savings can be very significant.

Not sure what you mean. Are you still trying to get the new SiteBuilder module or are you trying to run it?
If the former, do you have the Marketplace configured on your site?

Don't think so - That's why we built the new version
The new one will import any pages it finds built with the old one though.

I've always liked the idea of a grid of images and profile names that when you click on one it opens a modal window with all the profile info in.

The new Site Builder is in the beta channel of the Marketplace. Enable the channel in the Marketplace=>Tools=>Release Channels section then you should be able to install it.

I think you should be ok. Seamless supports wildcard searches so
{jrSeamless_list modules="jrAudio,jrSoundCloud" search="*_genre = rock"}
would work.
For a custom template, specify it in the above list call then test the $item.seamless_module_name to run the appropriate item code.

Using Jamroom

GoDaddy servers have always been 'hit and miss' when running Jamroom. Sometimes they are fine, but then you sometimes get issues like this. I don't think their servers are consistent and it depends which one you end up on. I try to steer JR users away from GD if possible!!
