Ningja Skin Index has wrong forum url

Ning To Jamroom

You can get to your database here - ACP=>Developer=>Developer Tools=>Tools=>Database Admin
You can look at tables, make changes to content and even run MySql queries there, but be careful, this MySql database is the heart of JR and it can be easy to break something if you make any 'unconsidered' changes.

Have changed those 8 entries for you.

Ningja Skin Index has wrong forum url

Ning To Jamroom

Ahhh - With you :-)
That is because that bit of the URL is a slug so it doesn't matter what it says there !!
It is picked up from the post item datastore where the category URL string is hard codes to what it was at the time of creation. Have just looked at your datastore and there are 8 posts with this category. All the rest are just 'Empath'. Shall I change those 8 datastore entries for you?

Is it possible in Site Builder how do I show the latest images posted OR commented on?

Using Jamroom

I've updated the gallery widget on your /home2 page and added a test comment to /cathy-rose/gallery/557/offering-bowl and it pushed this image to the top, so it looks like its working :-)

Yes, you can mixed SiteBuilding and template editing. You'll have to edit templates if you want to change 'common' stuff like headers and footers but otherwise, just remember that if you site build one of the default JR pages like /profile or /audio etc, the SB page will always over-ride the template.

How do I get Site Builder to display Forum topics, not forum posts?

Using Jamroom

There's a bug in the Forum item_list.tpl template. I'll get that fixed up for the next release but have sorted it on your site prior to that.
Thanks

Sorry - didn't read your first post properly.
So which template/widget is that wrong link in?

Ningja Skin Index has wrong forum url

Ning To Jamroom

With Ningja the forum menu link is set in the skin settings -
ACP=>Skin Settings=>Site Index=>Forum URL

But as your forum only has one category, why not disable forum categories (settings tab on the forum page) then all the topics will show on the forum page itself.

Hi Leslie
I've installed that module for you.
How are you planning on customising your site, with SiteBuilder or by modifying the skin templates?
Let me know and I'll update the widgets or code to show you how the above is implemented.
Thanks

Actually, we do have a custom module that we developed for another user that will help. It does what Michael suggested - whenever a comment is made on an item, the item's '_updated' time field is updated to the time the comment was made, so you can then use the list widget to list gallery items ordered by '_updated descending'. That way you'll get new gallery items as well as those recently commented upon.
Shall I install this module for you on your site?
