Grrrr... Error 404

Installation and Configuration

I think there's definitely something amiss with the 1&1 server if its not accepting the uploads.
The ffmpeg is a 16MByte file so guessing that your upload speed is slow and the server is timing out.
Would certainly recommend our hosting partners Arvixe. As Douglas said, one click and JR is installed in whatever subfolder you specify. Haven't worked with WordPress so can't comment on how easy it might be to move those other though.

Modules question

Jamroom Developers

Not specifically, but with the jrAparna module you could easily create one.
It would create a basic module called xxArtWork, say, that would just have a Title field. You can then use its Form Designer to add in all the other fields, including the means to upload the artworks.
By default, modules created with Aparna are linked to FoxyCart so they would be sellable.

Some template questions..

Design and Skin Customization

Actually, I think its $item.list_rank :-)
Its a generic variable for all listings

Grrrr... Error 404

Installation and Configuration

Upload all the files - Jamroom and the Genosis should install at the same time.
The .htaccess file is part of the zip. Just make sure that Filezilla is set to show and upload all hidden files as well.
If you're doing a re-install, I find it best to first delete the /data folder (and its sub-folders), re-upload it (along with, in this case, the other folders and files), drop all the tables in the database, then install.

Grrrr... Error 404

Installation and Configuration

I've just downloaded Genosis from its download page and it installs ok.
Have just looked at your URL and am seeing the same issue, but am also seeing broken image links etc. so I suspect that all the files of all the modules and skins haven't been uploaded for whatever reason.
Also, as Douglas said, make sure that the .htaccess files have been uploaded as well - they are critical for Jamroom (and Genosis)

Grrrr... Error 404

Installation and Configuration

There is no index file in the Jamroom root folder, so don't worry about that.
When you install Jamroom on its own (without the Genosis modules) does that do the same?

Custom Sidebar for item index and detail pages

Design and Skin Customization

I don't think '$module_url' on its own is a variable. Its usually part of an array, like $_post.module_url, or $params.module_url
Go with what {debug} tells you.

Which skin is best for my site

Using Jamroom

Take a look at the demos for all of our skins - https://www.jamroom.net/demos
Also, take a look at Nate's skins here - https://www.jamroom.net/n8flex/networkmarket
B360 looks like he has a skin as well - https://www.jamroom.net/b360/networkmarket

SteveX has what might be used as a chat module - https://www.jamroom.net/ultrajam/documentation/modules/1416/together

The SuperPack will give you all the modules (and some skins) to do what you want. If you want to replace your Solo Bundle purchase with the SuperPack we can likely sort that out.

Suggestions

Sorry, but can everybody not see the forum?
Or are you thinking of a chatroom type of thing?
