Not sure what might have happened then, but if its ok now, that's good.
If you imported any other stuff before getting the users sorted you'll likely need to do it again as all other items will be allocated to admin as well.
You need to import the users as well (the second option on the import list).
When JR4 artists/members are first imported they are all allocated to admin. Its only when JR4 users are imported that the process is able to pair them up with their artist/member JR5 profile.

I've actually been working on something like this for the past few weeks.
There may well be a couple of modules available soon to make it easy to give your site 'Facebookish' features.
The latest release includes a ton of work on the actions setup getting the look and feel of them all consistent and fixing a few bugs found on the way, so I guess that part of it was tightened up.
Try taking out the "include_followed=true" and the "profile_id" bits.
If this is a front page action list and you want to include all actions, they might be restricting things.
You do need the jrChart module for this to work. Get it from the Marketplace within your site ACP.
Also note that when/if you do this, charts are compiled on a daily basis so it'll take a couple of days for them to show and to make any sense.

Just to add that when I did the import for you, I created JR5 Artist and Member quotas just to match the quotas on your JR4 site.
As Brian says, JR5 doesn't distinguish and its up to you how the quotas are configured.

We have been working on timelines to give all actions a consistent look and feel, as well as fixing a few bugs we found along the way.
We've pushed the changes here to jamroom.net
They'll end up in a future release of the Core.
