Using Jamroom

{jrCore_list module="jrYouTube" order_by="_item_id DESC" template="index_list_youtube.tpl" limit="10"} lists newest to oldest

{jrCore_list module="jrYouTube" order_by="_created DESC" template="index_list_youtube.tpl" limit="10"} oldest to newest, used to list newest to oldest

Aparna-generated modules do the same thing.

Happens on all of my websites.

jr_file file types

Using Jamroom

Sorry, I can't seem to get jr_file to allow jpg uploads. I've tried configuring in the module and also in the form designer on create and update, but no go.

Any thoughts?

New - Support Tickets Module

Announcements

Just my feedback, for what it's worth. I would expect the Master Admin to get all notifications by default, but not the profile admins. I don't see them needing notifications on every module when I don't want them "messing with ACP stuff" anyway. I'd rather assign them specific tasks as needed. Again, just a thought. I'm running over a dozen jamroom websites and just trying to minimize admin tasks if possible. Maybe I am stretching its bounds a bit. Hopefully I'm not too annoying.

Using Jamroom

I'm seeing this issue with the youtube module and a module I created via Aparna. I'm seeing it on all of my jamroom websites. None of the items in both modules were "imported". Before updating to ver16 I was using "_created DESC" and these items were listing from last entered to first entered. After the update, not so. Changing to "_item_id DESC" fixes it, but you may want to check those module's timestamping I guess. The blog module doesn't seem to be affected.

I do have a jr website where I have imported thousands of profiles using phpmyadmin. The mysql inserts I constructed for that contained a timestamp value which is the same for every record. "_created DESC" has stopped working there of course, which makes sense if _created is going by the timestamp now. I wonder if the jr_import tool does something similar.

Reading what Brian has said, the youtube and aparna modules are evidently not creating proper timestamps. Even youtube videos added AFTER the v16 update do not appear at the top of a "_created DESC" list.

New - Support Tickets Module

Announcements

This requires me to go into the notifications of every admin, profile admins and master admin, and turn off the notifications for this module. I'm assuming I will need to this again for every new module I install with notifications like this. I would rather the notifications were off by default and then turn them on as I wish.

It's just a thought.

And again, it would be a really great feature for this module to be able to assign notifications to an admin user based on a quota. For instance, I might assign Jon to get ticket notifications from users in the Dancers quota and Jill receives ticket notifications from users in the Labels quota.

include a jrCore_list on another site

Using Jamroom

Yes, Paul, that's what I'm interested in having. Something similar to what was available in jr4. In jr4 you could limit which domains this could be used on. I used it to give premium quotas an additional benefit as well, so only those on that quota could post lists on their website. It allowed artists to have dynamic lists of their music on their own websites.

But it could be better. And exposing content is actually good thing. Web 2.0 and social media embraces it. Jamroom may want to consider a kind of Widget Builder module. Twitter has a nice widget creator that allows you post timelines of any search, etc. Make it easy for blogs and other website publishers to include various kinds of jamroom lists.

It's just a thought. I don't if or how taxing hosting a dynamic jamroom list on multiple sites would be. Maybe there's a way to cache the lists to make this kind of thing less taxing.

Or maybe Michael's iFrame technique is the best way to go?

If possible, what is the general url format for including a jrCore_list on another website?

New - Support Tickets Module

I suggest a configuration for support ticket admin email. By quota would be nice. In my situation I have 20 profile admins who manage clients in a marketing/printing company. I would like to assign one to handle the support tickets.
