foxycart image upload

Using Jamroom

Michael mentioned in another thread the possibility of adding the ability for someone to upload a file when they make a foxycart purchase (like an image for a custom t-shirt):

The store doesn't have a file upload feature in the communications system.

I'll look into getting one added in to the 'communication' tab.

Have you had a chance to make any progress on this?

thanks

form designer field permissions

Using Jamroom

Yes. The only way I see of getting the behavior I want is to make the Crew user a Standard User and then manually assign all profiles to it, which I'd rather not do. Can you think of another solution? I must admit, my understanding of listeners is not very clear; perhaps I could use this approach to automatically assign all profiles to this user on creation?

form designer field permissions

Using Jamroom

I may be trying to do something it's not set up to do. This particular site currently only has a master admin and three profile admins. They all manage many profiles which are properties which have multiple tasksbeing created and managed (via a custom Aparna module) . The Office and Manager users enter cost information for these tasks which they don't want the Crew users to see, but the Crew users need to be able to check off information in tasks for all the properties so all the users need profile admin access, I just want to hide some of the form fields.

I thought I might do this by quota since each user's profile has a different quota, but this doesn't seem to have any effect on what shows to profile admins.

Gravatar module questions

Using Jamroom

Beyond the few choices Gravatar serves by default, it would be nice if the module allowed us to serve a custom image (even nicer if default images could be based on quota). Serving a custom image is built into Gravatar:

Quote: What happens when an email address has no matching Gravatar image? By default, this:

[default image]

If you'd prefer to use your own default image (perhaps your logo, a funny face, whatever), then you can easily do so by supplying the URL to an image in the d= or default= parameter. The URL should be URL-encoded to ensure that it carries across correctly, for example.

I'm getting the error on ALL of my jamrooms on 3 different hosts. Different versions.

The only error I see in common across several sites is this one: PHP Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in ../modules/jrMarket-release-1.2.1/index.php on line 465

I see it dating back several months though, while this marketplace notice error just began happening sometime in the past 24 hours.

Gravatar module questions

Using Jamroom

What does the Gravatar module do for admin-created profiles that don't have a profile image?

Is there any code I need to add to my templates to get this to function?

I read on the Gravatar website where the default image can be a custom image. Would it be possible to add that option to the module? Based on Quota?
