Gravatar module questions

Using Jamroom

Beyond the few choices Gravatar serves by default, it would be nice if the module allowed us to serve a custom image (even nicer if default images could be based on quota). Serving a custom image is built into Gravatar:

Quote: What happens when an email address has no matching Gravatar image? By default, this:

[default image]

If you'd prefer to use your own default image (perhaps your logo, a funny face, whatever), then you can easily do so by supplying the URL to an image in the d= or default= parameter. The URL should be URL-encoded to ensure that it carries across correctly, for example.

I'm getting the error on ALL of my jamrooms on 3 different hosts. Different versions.

The only error I see in common across several sites is this one: PHP Strict Standards: Only variables should be passed by reference in ../modules/jrMarket-release-1.2.1/index.php on line 465

I see it dating back several months though, while this marketplace notice error just began happening sometime in the past 24 hours.

Gravatar module questions

Using Jamroom

What does the Gravatar module do for admin-created profiles that don't have a profile image?

Is there any code I need to add to my templates to get this to function?

I read on the Gravatar website where the default image can be a custom image. Would it be possible to add that option to the module? Based on Quota?

Hmm. The quota checkboxes don't seem to be doing anything here.

Michael, my issue was that "set as active profile skin" was not checked. I *think* somewhere along the line, this option was newly added (I was upgrading from 5.1.29). That's why my site was working fine before I upgraded, but after I upgraded, my skin was not showing.

I'm guessing the first option is for the general site skin which was checked in my case, so it's odd that my site skin was not working. Neither the site nor the profiles were showing. Fortunately, the admin skin was working and I was still logged in as master admin.

Yes, I just updated to the latest today. This is the site you've been on before when we were looking into something like this. I don't think it was exactly this, but something similar (it was more about the custom form module). The module I'm looking at now is Aparna-generated.
