Hi guys,

I have always been curious about this and not sure if it's been ask yet..but if I create a blog about a show I was at..I named it with a title...added a picture to the bog etc..then I realized this will be better off being an event..so to avoided deleting everything and starting all over again is there a way to move the blog from there to an event or gallery..vice versa..I know going into jamroom 5 from Jamroom 4..there's a module to move items from one profile to another..whoch is kool..so will there ever be moving and item from one media to another..
Will that ever be doable

Yeah I am.but also was trying to add the iskin4 item sliders to that FollowMe skin config file but what I was adding from the iskin4 cause a blank page..I tried it a few times..went blank

So I'll try something else

Will all skins get updated with the new Timeline activity function of the FollowMe skin

Hi guys just curious if at any time soon the other skins profile page will get updated with the new Timeline activity that's in the FollowMe skin profile page...I'm not worrying about the index page

Or is this only for FollowMe stand alone skin and we all have to bare with the old activity  layout

Just want to know before I go all crazy and customize  my skin even more

I totally agree 100% with what Strumelia mention... which should be as one of the major top 1-5 steps a new user should do in there set up - CLONE the original skin and do there custom work from that clone skin..good one @Strumelia

Using Jamroom

I will first look into what design / skin concept I would like to use for my site on Jamroom that relates to my project. Then get the skin under a temporary domain name.
I feel choosing a domain name is quite easy to do ..so that wouldn't be my first thing to do on my list..since nowadays..anyone can have many domains and it's easy to change the domain name on your server once it's up and running.
I will then choose a simple hosting package to start the first phase of building the site
.then I will plan any changes to the skin that I will need on my site..and so on

1- choose skin concept
2- server (and use any domain name I already have)
3- new domain name
4- then have fun

I was able to get it to work from just 4 list of sliders to 6...i may try to see if 8 sliders will work...now i'm just trying to add now a category to the iskin4..which im taking from the eskin...so hopefully that will work.

Hi guys ..just checking if this is still doable

Number 2 request

2- the iskin4 has 4 list of sliders..
list 1, list2, list3, list4
I want to add a few more list of sliders at different location..
what do I need to add or change to have 5 or 6 or even 7 sliders to run in the Iskin4
Is it something that I need to change in the config.php and index_list.tpl besides creating new index_item.tpl's files to pull 5,6 ,7 list that slidez and so on

Ahhhhhhbhh found it...
for request 1-
To change the wording ..it's in js/scripts.js

I tried to add an image function but it is not working.

I added a content line under the navbar: to the script.js file but nothing happen..i refresh ..did the cache and it's not pulling the image.



this is how it ls;
