extra event info displaying from event.tpl page not profile page

Design and Skin Customization

Is it possible to have the description or any info belonging to an event appear in a modal window
from the events page or even the home page not from the profile page. Allowing someone to get like a sneak preview of the
event before clicking any link and going to the main event on the profile. I was able to get the modal window working
and displaying a description of the event when clicking on the image link but whats happening is that I have many events on the event page.tpl...
and when clicking on any of them...they all show the same description info...not the specific info for that event.

I know specific music or video can be played from either a music.tpl or video.tpl page not just from the profile page...
but I haven't seen event info popup from an event on the event page on neither of the skins.

I like this idea...I did a a simple one in JR4 for advertising running on the original ISKIN skin which already had a fixed header on top...I just created a separate fixed footer and had it located in the bottom of the page

500 internal error from the core links

Installation and Configuration

boplive: DJ informed me below with the following, You don't have a 500 error. You have a php error as noted in your log file. [28-Jan-2014 15:55:16 America/Chicago] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/spi1/public_html/modules/jrCore/lib/form.php on line 713 I noticed the error was happening because the form.php file was incomplete. I replaced it with a full copy of the file and the site opens. I do see that there are still problems though. I would suggest re-uploading the core files to make sure everything is complete. With his info from DJ and where you guys told me to go - data/logs/error_log I was able to go to the control panel and see the errors...all of them for the last 2 weeeks..but the one that was given the site problem was a copied jrEvent file.that i named jrEventx...I took it out and everything went back to normal..I should had known better... Thanks a bunch guys for your help...you guys are doing a tremendous job.. :)

Advice to everyone...IF YOU DUPLICATE ANY OF THE FOLDERS IN THE MODULES SECTION...DO NOT NAME THEM TOO CLOSE AS THE ORIGINAL FOLDER...Ex: jrEvent and have another called jrEvent2,jrBlog and have a folder called jrBlognew....this will cause problems which is what I just had in my site.
