DianeBrooks:
michael:
first thing you want to do is point your Name Servers to the settings found here:
https://www.jamroom.net/dianebrooks/hosting/server_config/355

ns1.linode.com
ns2.linode.com
ns3.linode.com
ns4.linode.com
ns5.linode.com
I believe you said you were using godaddy for your domain purchase.....?

Godaddy Docs: "Set custom nameservers for domains registered with GoDaddy"
https://nz.godaddy.com/help/set-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-godaddy-12317

You cant setup SSL until this is done because the purpose of SSL is to ensure that the domain name matches the server its supposed to.

I LEFT godaddy lol switched to powweb but they couldnt change something needed for jamroom which is why i switched to jamroom hosting

nameservers changed...will give it a minute or two then check

how do I cancel the Premium Trial

Jamroom Hosting

michael:
You don't need to cancel premium trial, its a trial, its free.

Since you are on Jamroom Hosing, you have all of the features of Premium included in the hosting.

ok but i think i need to reset the nameservers because its not showing as being hosted on jamroom right now.....i just dont know what the nameservers are....

just weighing my options before switching....

After switching nameservers over to Jamroom for hosting

Jamroom Hosting

will I still be able to do use my current host to make additions to my domain.
like if i wanted to add a section on my site to be a tribute to someone...
will i still be able to upload etc to my server as it is now and still show up?
as long as it was in a separate folder.... ie www.mydomain.com/tribute/
(since jamroom is in my root folder.)
or will it be exclusively a jamroom "domain" when hosted by you?
I hope I am getting what I am trying to say expressed correctly.
