Can de-activated members continue sending private notes if still logged in?

Using Jamroom

antibody (users) / antigen (profile) : so an antibody can have multiple antigens and and antigen can have multiple antibodies. One antibody could have 10 or more different antigen (if allowed by the admin user). Or a single antigen could have 10 different antibodies.

The properties of an antigen are defined by Quotas. There will be exactly as many different types of antigen as there are quotas defined. (it is possible to have 2 quotas EXACTLY the same, but whats the point.). Each antigen can only be defined by a single quota. It cant be two different types of antigen at the same time.

Glad we got that sorted in a language thats familiar to you. :)

Open PDF on page?

Off Topic

Thats a setting in your browser. Firefox and chrome try to open PDF's in the browser. Personally I hate it when they do that. My objection is: "Its not a web page, its a file, let me open it in a PDF file reader (while cursing my browser for changing default options)"

You can probably change the settings of YOUR browser, but you cant force those settings on other peoples browsers.

Design and Skin Customization

Use the "Template Code" widget, it will allow you to use any code you could have used in a template.

subscriptions: 1 user, multiple profile s

Using Jamroom

Maybe try only allowing Power User to quotas that are in a subscription quota.

They signup to the subscription quota, then they can create profiles in the other allowed quotas.

eg: "Subscription quota, power user enabled, max profiles 2, allowed quotas Artist Quota"
The user must then purchase the subscription quota in order to be able to create 2 artist profiles.

We've cryptically named the doc where that tip can be found as:

Simple Chat 'Module URL' setting

Installation and Configuration

The new features that came into JR6 are covered a bit in the Follow Me skin docs here:

Docs: "Follow Me"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/skins/4419/follow-me

Chat doesn't have a docs page yet.

Audio Playtime

Installation and Configuration

One way to look at it:) If its the artist that signed that agreement then they upload the full song, its them breaking the agreement, not you, not your problem.

Another way:) You can build (or sponsor) a module to do what you're looking for, its just not part of the existing jamroom system.

Hosting Payments made via PayPal

Suggestions

Paypal for me is even worse, Paypal Japan wont let you put money into paypal other than purchases via a credit card or people sending you money. So if you have none in there, and want to send to someone, you can't.

Paypal is not ideal, we'd love it if there was a better solution.

Strumelia:....If I'm not mistaken, this acts the same as setting a user back to 'pending', right?.....
Pending also has its own table, so if you turn it back to in-active ( 0 ) that wont put it back in the pending list, but it is in the same state. correct.

subscriptions: 1 user, multiple profile s

Using Jamroom

When a user purchases a subscription, their quota changes. The quota that changed will stay in that quota for as long as the subscription is live, then it will revert to whatever is set in the QUOTA CONFIG tab for that profile to change to once its subscription ends. When money is received from a subscription payment the end date of the subscription is pushed out longer.

If you allow your subscription quotas to be signed up to, no one will buy them. dont do that.

A purchase of a subscription should only change one quota, not multiple at the same time. I've not done extensive testing on multiple power user quotas purchasing subscriptions so don't have a model to answer this question.
