Communication options for members and for administrator

Using Jamroom

It follows the twitter model.

Communication is in the open via public messages posted to the timeline. If a message is for someone in particular, use their @ name @researchcooperative so is shows up in their MENTIONS list.

After the public communication if both parties are following each other, private notes can be exchanged if that module is active in the system.

Consistency in access and download permissions across media?

Suggestions

Its very hard to understand the issue without slightly more specific examples or use-cases. What I'm hearing is "I did something somewhere and somewhere else and it wasn't the same in both locations, but it should be."

Any more specific info would be great. :)

Thanks.

Defining h3 in jrUpimg CSS

Using Jamroom

That's for the slider, I'll get it a bit more specific so it doesn't interfere with what you want to do.

--edit--
You're right, it was too broad and not used. The H tag CSS is gone now from jrUpimg, update from the marketplace to get the changes. jrUpimg ver 1.1.3.

New user sign up notification

Using Jamroom

The 'notify_signup' email is being used in 2 different locations. Should be different in each location.

Got some wording you want for the first? the second?

'De-activate Member' has glitch.

Using Jamroom

Strumelia:
Here's something that I suspect ought to be fixed-
Say a member turns ugly and posts something nasty while the site owner is away. Your moderators are instructed to merely de-activate (uncheck the 'profile active' box) their profile until you can get back and see what the person did and gather their account information so you can add it to the 'banned' module lists.
The mods know that when a member is de-activated, only the admins can see their profile, content, and posts...the de-activated member will be INVISIBLE to regular logged in members.

HOWEVER- it appears to me that they are completely VISIBLE to anyone not logged in...site member or not. So that means both casual browsing visitors and members who are going to the site in order to log in, will SEE everything posted by Icky Member. until they log in.

This seems very undesireable/unintended to me. Can it be adjusted?
Thanks!

Need a bit more info on steps to recreate this please.

What I tried:
* as user 'three-mitsu' I posted a blog post.
* when I viewed the blog post logged in as 'three-mitsu' I COULD see the blog post
* when I viewed the blog post logged in as 'admin' I COULD see the blog post
* when I viewed the blog post logged OUT I could NOT see the blog post

As a logged out user or as 'three-mitsu' when I visit the blog list:
site.com/blog

The blog post by 'three-mitsu' was not visible in the blog post list while the "Profile Active" checkbox was un-checked. When I re-checked it as the admin user the blog post did become visible in the list for both 'three-mitsu' and the logged out user.

That seams to be working as expected.

'De-activate Member' has glitch.

Using Jamroom

There is? Is there a ticket for that bug anywhere, or a forum thread? I can see it happening, it needs fixing.

--edit--
Think I've got this fixed, just need to get an OK on it.

Members not getting notifications -more often lately?

Using Jamroom

You don't know a pattern that works to test for by any chance? Something that I could do to test out what could be wrong.

Locating what the actual issue is in cases like this is going to be the hardest thing to accomplish. Need to figure out a way to see it happen to understand why it happens.
