Ah, I see what your saying. The forums have:

* General Discussion
* Specific Topic 1
* Specific Topic 2
* Backstage
* Report a Problem

Where "Report a Problem" redirects to the tracker system. Gotcha. Thanks.

I haven't used those systems, could you explain how its useful.

You could probably do it right now via a module to intercept the url.

go ahead and explain that just a little more please.

What I'm guessing at is: "it looks like a forum category on the top level, but goes somewhere completely different."

Which seams weird.

Embedding Youtube video

Design and Skin Customization

nduguseliphaz:..mine shows audio and upload image. no youtube embed option...
That means you don't have the youtube module. or its not enabled for the quota that use is in.

You can get that module from here:
"YouTube Support"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/25/youtube-support

Or from the marketplace in your ACP of your site.

The docs for it are here:

"YouTube Support"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/modules/295/youtube-support

If you still want to do it via iframe, check out this thread:

Embedding Youtube video

Design and Skin Customization

Make sure you are embeding the youtube video by using the jrEmbed module.

Watch this: "Jamroom 5: jrEmbed module overview"
Jamroom 5: jrEmbed module overview

If you are just pasting in the code that is under the "Embed" section of YouTube then you will have to do it a different way. The jrEmbed module is the easiest way.

The second easiest way is the "Media URL Scanner"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/131/media-url-scanner

It will convert youtube links to play in the page when they are clicked.

If you MUST use the code that youtube provides, then you will need to add in this module:

"IFrame Control"
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/networkmarket/116/iframe-control

To control the youtube iframe.

Warm fuzzy feeling. :) What an awesome thing to say. That should be posted on the front page.

Nice one.

Glad you got it sorted.

Issue Tracker and Site search

Suggestions

Have you tried adding the field you want to the "Additional Search Fields" field in the SEARCH modules "Global Config" section:

YOUR-SITE.com/search/admin/global

Quote: If you would like to have additional DataStore fields available for search, enter the DataStore field name, one per line.

Example:
If you have created a custom User Profiles field via the Form Designer called "profile_location" you would enter profile_location on a line by itself to enable that field to be searched.

Template Variable: {$_conf.jrSearch_search_fields}
