I'll try that way. I used ujCategories_get_audio_genres on my test.

Thanks!

Ah that was it (phew).. I had to create a temp profile for that orphaned account, set the profile owner accordingly. Then I deleted the profile and it deleted the account. Alls well. OK to close, thank you!

There was a section in the ACP where I noticed you can uncheck associated profiles. I can't seem to find that. Remind me again please where to find that?

The category is named "Tech".

Hmmm darn most of my audio is coming in from the import.
So even though audio_genre is populated it looks somewhere else?

Hi @SteveX.

I followed this video to give ujCategories a first pass. http://www.jamroom.net/ultrajam/youtube/21/ujcategories-intro-genres

What I noticed is, I have a bunch of audio migrated from my JR4 site, I have approx 14 genres or so. So, when I follow your setup, I only get 1 genre come through which is listed as "Category: Tech" in the categories config.

So I'm wondering - Does the module differentiate between audio that was migrated vs. actually uploaded into the JR5 system? It seems like it's only looking for audio that was uploaded through the jrAudio module.

How can we make it look at imported audio too?

I know you wanted to try to use ujTogether to test that too, so just let me know how we should connect.

Thanks,
Brian

Any plans for an "Invite" module?

Suggestions

Maybe you can set an limit in the master admin options. Limit the number of invites per day? Sounds lame, but thinking this through....

Say the limit is 50 invites per day, If i was a user I would either:

1. selectively choose 50 friends
2. select the first 50 friends
3. just not use it at all.

I'm not hard up for this feature but I just thought, for the users that find value in it, it's there for them.

Ok, cool. I think it would be a nice feature. From the user's perspective ... commenting on items or in their timeline is "activity" either way. I see how it's separate though in JR. But yeah, this should be transparent (using hashtags) IMO.

looking for a recommendation on how to implement this

Design and Skin Customization

@B360 thanks man! I did discover the add-a-page video last night, easy peasy! And I started populating that page using the exact code you pasted.

I found the search1 parameter example in this document.
http://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/howto/1080/howto-using-jrcore-list-in-a-template-step-by-step

I also started looking at the ProJam and Nova templates for ranking examples.

@SteveX yes I'd be interested in seeing what the ujCategories can do for me. Though, my schedule tonight wont allow for a ujTogether session...

I tried leaving a hashtag in the comment box of audio, events, and photo and it was not linked. I think this is a bug in either the tagging or comment module.
